1 Prepare for safe work
Switch off the device, unplug the charger, and remove the battery if it’s designed for user removal. Protect important data and prepare a dry, well-lit surface.
⚠ Warning: Do not open power supplies, screens, lithium batteries, or assemblies with capacitors. They can retain dangerous voltage or cause fire even after switching off.
2 Determine the condition and cause
Insert fresh alkaline batteries with correct polarity and clean the contacts with a dry cloth. Check the infrared LED with your phone camera if it’s an IR remote.
3 Perform key checks
Clean the front window of the remote and the receiver on the device, and remove obstacles and strong direct light between them.
4 Repair or maintain
Re-pair your Bluetooth remote according to the manual. Corrosion, stuck buttons, or cracked circuitry boards require disassembly at a service center or replacement.
? Tip: Take a photo of the initial condition and change only one thing at a time. That way you’ll easily identify what actually fixed the problem.
5 Test the result
Return only the safely removed parts and run a quick test with a verified cable or attachment. Burning smell, overheating, puffed battery, or fluid traces require stopping work and service.
