1 Prepare for safe work
Empty and protect the work area, check the foundation and utilities, and use safety glasses, gloves, and respiratory protection. Mix the material according to the technical data sheet.
⚠ Warning: Do not handle load-bearing elements, large cracks, structural moisture, and materials that may contain asbestos without a professional assessment.
2 Determine the condition and cause
Choose a non-flammable location away from fences, tree crowns, and buildings, check local rules, and build a stable foundation.
3 Perform the key check
Build straight rows under constant level control, and make the firebox out of firebrick and appropriate mortar.
4 Do the repair or maintenance
Leave enough openings for air and smoke, install grate supports, and let the construction dry completely before a small test fire.
? Tip: Photograph the initial state and change only one thing at a time. This makes it easier to determine what really solved the problem.
5 Test the result
After the prescribed drying time, check levelness, strength, and edges. Do not load or cover the surface with a finishing layer until moisture and bonding are within allowed limits.
