1 Prepare for safe work
Ventilate the area, put on gloves, and test the agent in a hidden spot. Protect children, pets, and sensitive surfaces.
⚠ Warning: Never mix bleach with vinegar, acids, ammonia, or other cleaners. The mixture can release toxic gases.
2 Determine the exact symptom
Inspect wool, fur, feathers, and dark corners for holes, larvae, cocoons, and silky webbing. Separate suspect items into bags.
3 Check the most common cause
Wash or dry-clean textiles according to the label, vacuum wardrobe joints thoroughly, and immediately discard the vacuum contents.
4 Eliminate the cause without improvisation
Store clean seasonal items in sealed containers. Pheromone traps serve to monitor male moths, but do not remove larvae on their own.
? Tip: Photograph the initial state and change only one thing at a time. This will make it easier to identify what really solved the problem.
5 Test the result
Remove product residues according to the label, dry the surface, and inspect the result in daylight. If the problem returns quickly, find the source of moisture, dirt, or pest entry.
