1 Prepare for safe work
Ventilate the area, put on gloves, and test the agent in a hidden spot. Protect children, pets, and sensitive surfaces.
⚠ Warning: Never mix bleach with vinegar, acids, ammonia, or other cleaners. The mixture can release toxic gases.
2 Determine the exact symptom
Inspect flour, grains, nuts, spices, and pet food for webbing, clumps, larvae, and holes in the packaging.
3 Check the most common cause
Seal and discard infested products, then vacuum shelves, support peg holes, and joints. Wash and completely dry the cabinet.
4 Eliminate the cause without improvisation
Transfer new dry food into sturdy sealed containers and monitor with pheromone traps for a few weeks. Do not spray insecticide on food contact surfaces.
? Tip: Photograph the initial state and change only one thing at a time. This will make it easier to identify what really solved the problem.
5 Test the result
Remove product residues according to the label, dry the surface, and inspect the result in daylight. If the problem returns quickly, find the source of moisture, dirt, or pest entry.
