1 Prepare for safe work

Ventilate the area, put on gloves, and first test the agent in a hidden spot. Do not mix products and protect children, pets, textiles, and sensitive surfaces.

⚠ Warning: Do not use acids on marble, sensitive stone, or damaged metal finishes. Do not leave the product on for longer than the label states.

2 Determine the finish material

Chrome, matte black finish, brass, and natural stone do not tolerate the same products. Check the manufacturer’s recommendation.

3 Soften deposits with a mild agent

For a short time, place a cloth dampened with diluted citric acid or a suitable product on the chrome tap.

4 Clean the joints and aerator

Remove the softened scale with a soft brush, rinse, and dry. Remove the aerator only if it can be unscrewed without force and put the seal back.

? Tip: Photograph the initial state and change only one thing at a time. This way you will know which check really affected the problem.

5 Assemble, test, and set limits

Remove product residues according to instructions, dry the surface, and inspect it in day light. If the stain, smell, or moisture returns quickly, look for the source of the problem instead of repeating a stronger treatment.
