1 Prepare for safe work
Ventilate the room, put on gloves, and test the cleaner on a hidden area first. Do not mix products, and protect children, pets, textiles, and sensitive surfaces.
⚠ Warning: A steam cleaner and heavy water can trap moisture deep in the mattress and cause mold. Treat blood and biological stains with cold water first.
2 Vacuum both sides
Use a clean upholstery attachment and slow passes to remove dust, hair, and crumbs, especially along the seams.
3 Treat stains locally
Check the label, apply a minimal amount of product to the cloth instead of directly to the mattress, and dab from the edge to the center.
4 Dry and ventilate completely
Place the mattress upright in a well-ventilated area with airflow. Return the bedding only when the core is completely dry.
? Tip: Photograph the initial state and change only one thing at a time. This makes it easier to know which check really affected the problem.
5 Assemble, test, and set the boundary
Remove product residue according to the instructions, dry the surface, and inspect it in daylight. If the stain, odor, or moisture returns quickly, look for the source of the problem instead of repeating a stronger treatment.
