⚠ Safety note: This guide involves working with plumbing. If you're not completely sure about every step, stop and call a licensed professional. Before you start, always switch off the power at the breaker or close the main water/gas valve.
1 Prepare safe work
Ventilate the room, put on gloves, and test the agent in a hidden place. Protect children, pets, and sensitive surfaces.
⚠ Warning: Never mix bleach with vinegar, acids, ammonia, or other cleaners. The mixture can release toxic gases.
2 Determine the exact symptom
Vacuum with a soft attachment and determine if the finish is lacquer, oil, or wax. Use only an agent intended for that finish.
3 Check the most common cause
Wring the microfiber mop well and clean in small zones. Water must not remain in the joints or under furniture.
4 Eliminate the cause without improvisation
Wipe traces dry immediately and enable ventilation. Raised edges or dark joints indicate moisture penetration that must be stopped.
? Tip: Photograph the initial state and change only one thing at a time. This will make it easier to recognize what actually solved the problem.
5 Assemble and safely test
Remove agent residues according to the label, dry the surface, and inspect the result in daylight. If the problem returns quickly, find the source of moisture, dirt, or pest entry.
