⚠ Safety note: This guide involves working with plumbing. If you're not completely sure about every step, stop and call a licensed professional. Before you start, always switch off the power at the breaker or close the main water/gas valve.
1 Prepare for safe work
Switch off the device from the outlet, close the water supply if present and wait for hot parts to cool. Prepare the manual for your exact model, a lamp and a dry work surface.

⚠ Warning: Do not open a part of the device with mains power, capacitor, heater or cooling circuit. Leave such diagnostics to qualified service.
2 Determine the exact symptom
Empty the water container and drip tray, dry the device and determine whether water appears during filling, heating or coffee preparation.
3 Check the most common cause
Check whether the container is properly seated, if it has a crack and if the valve at the bottom is clean. Clean accessible seals according to the manual.

4 Eliminate the cause without improvisation
Clean the outlet and run a descaling cycle with the product recommended by the manufacturer. Internal leakage requires service.
? Tip: Take a photo of the initial state and change only one thing at a time. That way you’ll more easily recognize what actually solved the problem.
5 Assemble and test safely
Assemble all available parts and run a short supervised test. If leakage, burning smell, sparking or protective cover ejection appears, immediately turn off the device and call service.
