1 Prepare for safe work
Park on a flat surface, apply the handbrake, turn off the engine, and let it cool. Use specified lifting points and solid stands for lifting, never just a jack.
⚠ Warning: Do not work under a vehicle supported only by a jack and do not open a hot cooling system. Leave safety systems, fuel, high voltage, and serious brake malfunctions to the service center.
2 Determine the condition and the cause
Buy a filter matching the exact engine and note the position of clips, screws, and intake hoses before opening the housing.

3 Perform the key check
Remove the old filter without dropping dust into the clean side of the intake, vacuum the housing, and do not touch the sensitive MAF sensor.
4 Perform the repair or maintenance
Install the new filter in the correct direction, verify that the seal seats properly everywhere, and close all clips and hoses with no gaps.

? Tip: Photograph the initial state and change only one thing at a time. This will make it easier to determine what really solved the problem.
5 Test the result
Replace covers and tools, check levels and warnings, then do a short test in a safe place. Brakes, steering, fuel leaks, or overheating require a professional inspection before driving.
