1 Prepare for safe work
Disconnect the tool from the outlet or remove the battery. Clean the workspace, secure the object, and put on protection for eyes, hearing, and breathing according to the type of work.
⚠ Warning: Do not bypass safety guards, switches, and grounding. Leave electrical faults and damaged housings to a professional service.
2 Determine the exact symptom
Place the level on a firm surface approximately in the middle between two walls and mark the line height on both walls.
3 Check the most common cause
Turn the device 180 degrees without changing the height and mark the line again. Compare the differences with the tolerance specified in the manual.
4 Eliminate the cause without improvisation
For a vertical line, compare the laser with a verified plumb line. Do not adjust a device out of tolerance randomly, but send it for calibration.
? Tip: Photograph the initial state and change only one thing at a time. This makes it easier to recognize what really solved the problem.
5 Assemble and test safely
Put back all guards and perform a short test without load, then a trial on scrap material. Stop work if the tool vibrates, sparks, overheats, or makes an unusual sound.
